Maybe Full House isn't really good for kids

Do you remember the show Full House? My girls love it and have all the seasons on DVD. Taylin loves to watch it and her favorite one she is into lately is when Becky has the twins. Remember Becky? She is Rebecca Donaldson who is married to Uncle Jesse. Well, the other night we were laying in bed watching the baby move all around. The child has an abundant amount of energy already. So I told the girls it was time to get going to bed as I was trying to pull/roll myself off the bed Taylin said, "Don't worry Mommy Rebecca Donaldson is fatter than you!" Oh wow. I looked at Eric and said the child is only 5 and walked away crying inside.

So on that note I had a Dr. appt today, not with my normal dr either. I don't know what it is, but when I don't have my normal dr my appts just do not run smooth. I have a very small bladder when I am not pregnant and being pregnant I am not exaggerating when I say I could go pee every 2 minutes. I get to my appt go to the bathroom and nothing. I came out of the bathroom with my empty cup and had to pick up Eric's jaw off the ground as he is in disbelief that I couldn't pee. So then the Dr. measured my belly and says I am measuring at 32 weeks. Yikes slow down doc, I am measuring at 32 weeks, wait a minute I am 31 weeks. I said well what does that mean? Keep in mind my insurance situation isn't settled yet and I still can't deliver before April 1st. She said that it doesn't affect my due date, but wait it gets better. She felt the position of the baby and guess what? He is already in the down position she said. She was comfortable saying he was already down, but would have my dr do a full exam at my next appt. So great another 2 weeks left in limbo of if I will deliver early or is my baby just going to be large. Well, one thing will be for sure, we should have an answer about our insurance by then. On that note I will go please myself with a late night snack and go to bed.

Does anyone else have this problem?

So Eric will do the dishes for me every now and then, but this is my problem. Why is it that the crockpot suddenly is not a part of the dirty dishes and is always saved for me? Why does the kitchen table disappear and never gets wiped down and same with the counters? Why does the floor never get swept either? Just wondering?

The big 3-0

No, I didn't turn 30 yet, I am still in my 20's for another 8 months. No, Eric didnt' turn 30 either he is almost 31 hehe:). This week has marked week 30 of my pregnancy. 30 weeks is a long time, it has gone by fast and slow all at the same time. I was going to write 30 things I like about being pregnant but couldn't even come up with 2 reasons. Maybe it's just cause I am very uncomfortable and reaching that stage where I almost need to go to the truck stop to get weighed. The good thing is, if we get to schedule the c-section for the day we want than I have only 9 more weeks, if not then 10 more. Either way there is a light at the end of the tunnel. So here is my belly at 30 weeks. I don't take pictures of my face cause well it's just "fluffy"




To update about our insurance issues, we are still stressing out. It has been a very frustrating time fighting them. They will in no way what so ever cover the birth before April 1st. The other option we are pursuing has also been extemely frustrating. We will hopefully have an answer in the next 10 days, so PLEASE continue to pray for us.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Target

I absolutely love Target, it gives me warm fuzzies. I have been a little stressed lately (I will post about it at the end). We decided to head to Target to get some things for the baby and get them crossed of the list. Well, I love when they start to change seasons and they practically give away their merchandise. We spent a little more than we set out to spend, BUT let me tell you what. We hit the jackpot big time. We spent $116 bucks, sounds like a lot and it is a lot. I hate spending that much at one time, but we would have been stupid to pass up on the stuff we got. 21 of the items we purchased were on clearance, love it. Those items would have cost $180.83 full price, but with my great love for a bargain we picked them up for $75.50. Awesome Awesome Awesome. Some of the things included a breast pump, 3 pairs of shoes, clothes, clothes, and more clothes. We saved $105.33 just on those items.

Ok now the stressful part and prayers would be greatly appreciated. My Dr. gave the go ahead to schedule my c-section which was suppose to be the end of March. The nurse called me to inform me that she called the insurance company for pre-authorization and told her if I deliver before April 1st it will not be covered. Are you kidding me? Who pays for 9 months of prenatal care and then decides oh well we aren't going to cover the birth if its before April 1st? I had a Dr appt today and she says we should make it to my due date of April 2nd. I love to be prepared and well this is just way too close for comfort. As if being pregnant wasn't stressful enough now this? We have a few other options in the works and are praying that everything will turn out just fine. However, they did let us know we could pay out of pocket. I thought about that option and realized there was no way I could pull $30,000 out of my couch cushions. Yes, that is how much the c-section and hospital stay was with Taylin. So please send prayers our way as we could really use them.

I added a map to see where my blog viewers are located. I have had a few random comments from countries that I don't even know how to pronounce. I have thought about making my blog private, but I know that some people won't be able to access it. I also know that there are people who stop by that don't leave comments, etc. While I want to make my blog private I still want to let those people who know us and are too shy to say anything, too still be able to view my blog. Does anybody have any suggestions on this? And for those of you who stop by, please leave a comment so that in case I do go private I can add you to my list and invite you to continue viewing. I just want to keep my family safe and I know there are just weird people out there. So please any feedback, or other visitors comments are welcome.

Martha Stewart has nothing on this Domestic Goddess

As you can see in my post from yesterday the project for today was working on my linen closet upstairs. I really didn't think it was that bad until I really looked at it and got going on it. I told my sister Shannon about 15 minutes into it that I wasn't sure why I started this project, but I did and it's done. I just really need to go make a donation today at the Goodwill. Back to normal life

Finally after 2 and half weeks off of school the girls went back today. Last night it was kind of questionable as we went to bed with about 2 inches of snow. Thankfully it all melted and they were able to go back. We have had a lot of snow this winter which is very odd. In fact this is the most snow for the area in 30 years. The girls only went to school for 2 days the week prior to getting out of school. With the snow school kept getting canceled. Then the 1st week of break we were literally house bound, but we all managed to survive. Eric, is also glad the snow is gone cause his route is in an area that gets hit hard with snow when it snows. His business is still going, but like the rest of the economy has slowed down a little bit. It's just good that no matter what everyone needs bread.

I am now 28 weeks pregnant, however, I like to tell people I am 7 months it just sounds like I am further when you use months instead of weeks. I am huge and feel like a fat mess. I am also moving a lot slower these days and my body always lets me know when it has had enough and that tends to upset me. I have also had a major sense of nesting or should I say dejunking my house, the closets especially. I am for the most part a clean freak and though the closets aren't horrible they all need some attention. I don't know if it's the actual nesting or A.D.D but things lately have to be done when I say and that usually doesn't fly with everyone involved. Here is a perfect example from today. I like my kitchen counters as plain and simple as possible all the extra junk laying around seriously will put me in a panic attack at times. So Eric had a pile of papers from work and a tie on the counter and day after day he said he would put it away. Well, today I decided I would clean the pile of crap off the counter. That started a big "honeydo" list and sent Eric outside in the cold determined to take down the Christmas lights. I am not sure why. I mean I only asked him help me clean out 2 huge closets downstairs, help me move stuff from one closet to the other, throw stuff away, and make a separate pile for the Goodwill. I guess he figured taking lights off the house was more inviting than his pregnant wife yelling at him for getting in my way and not doing things my way. I let him be outside for 5 minutes then went outside and told him to get back inside cause the closets had to be done NOW!!! After the first 5 minutes of me telling Eric to shut his mouth and just do what I said and lift the heavy stuff we now have 2 beautiful clean closets. I can't wait to get my hands on the closets upstairs. Eric, said he is glad to be at work tomorrow when I do them.

Well, that is all for now. My back is hurting and I can't sit here anymore.
