Blah

I am having a bad morning and it's only 9. I didn't sleep well last night at all. I gained 2 pounds, what the hell I am on a diet and sticking to it and excerising hard core. Anyways enough complaining.

I have to get ready to take Taylin to her post op so this will be short. I am NOT looking forward to taking Taylin to her post op at all. Last Thursday I was switching the laundry and the sweet little girl came up to me tapped me on my leg and said, "Mommy. Is it ok if I pulled out my stitches? They were bugging me really bad so I pulled them out. So is it ok Mommy?" Well child you have no choice you pulled them out. I looked in her mouth and I think she will be just fine. There is a piece of skin that looks weird but I think it's ok. I always get nervous when I take her to the dentist or doctors cause I never know what she is going to say and sometimes when she talks to them I just want to hide under the table. On a better note after an enjoyable spring break with the girls (I am not joking this time, we had an awesome spring break), Taylin goes back to preschool today. YYYEEEESS.

Speaking of going back to school I just got Hailey on the school bus. Now let me take you back to their last break which happens to be winter break. School always gets out the Friday before Christmas and starts up again Jan. 2nd. It always does there is never an exception. If I remember right I think the 2nd was a Wed. or a Thursday and I told Eric gosh their break seems really short this year. This can't be right. Hailey was on a boundary exception at this time so I got her and Taylin up and ready and I even had my nephew AJ with me. So 3 kids later we pile into the truck in the freezing cold and head to school. When we get to the school the parking lot was empty. I started laughing and said you have got to be kidding me. So yes I tried to take her back early. So this morning we were waiting for the bus and she said, "mommy are you sure today is the 7th?" Yes, it is and the bus showed up.

Well, I need to go now to get ready for Taylin's appt.

Taylin+Old People= Embarrassment

We went to the mall this afternoon. The girls had to use the restroom so we stopped what we were doing to go potty. We were walking back to Eric and I saw about 5 old people headed our way. I was holding Taylin's hand but she still walks wild even if I am holding her hand. I tugged on her hand a little bit and said hold on some people are coming. She saw the "herd" of old people and she literally jumped backwards and said, "whoa you old people are really scary!!" Seriously whose child is this and how did I end up with her? Oh well they were about 80+ so maybe they didn't hear her.

And on another note Taylin decided to pull her stitches out off her lip cause they were bothering her. Go figure.

Please forgive me

I have road rage. I will admit it. Sometimes words escape my mouth and sometimes fingers get lifted. I hate getting cut off. I was cut off huge today. This car at the last minute decided it was going to pull out in front of me and turn left. Then at the last minute they had to over correct cause they realized they couldn't turn left cause of the big barrier. So then they had to come back over causing them to cut me off again. They are now next to me and a few choice words came out and the finger somehow flew up. Ok yes I know this was bad, really bad. The poor boys I flipped off and swore at were the Mormon missionaries. Please somebody tell me my fate.

The Oregon Zoo

Today I stuck with my promise and we went to the zoo. We left the house on time and everything. We got to the zoo about 10 and it was about 45 degrees according to the thermometer in the car. It was freezing as we were standing in line to get in. But the plus side to standing in line in the freezing cold is we were there early enough to get a good parking spot. Another good thing is it was sunny and not raining. So we went through did our thing, etc. On the way out of the polar bear exhibit there was this little boy running and screaming. I mummbled under my breath how annoying why doesn't his parents calm him down, he is not the only person there. But as I was in the middle of my rude remark I realized that this little boy was parentless and that he was indeed lost. We tried to approach this little boy to ask the questions of where he last saw his mother, but he is a pro at the whole stranger danger and kept running. So we kept following. I was amazed at how many zoo employees we passed on the way and not one of them showed even an ounce of concern. We continued to chase him and managed to corner him into to this little area where he couldn't get out. By this time a zoo employee was with us. He tried to escape but Eric grabbed him by the arm and picked him up and I rubbed his back and told him that we wanted to help him find his mommy. I told him that if he kept running around then his mommy would be very worried and we wouldn't be able to find her. Not long after we were able to control him his mother did show up. I am glad we were in the right place at the right time and I was able to use my Walmart "code adam" skills. Yes I worked at Walmart and code adams were used when children were lost. I am glad there was a happy ending to this and I feel really bad that I muttered such mean things.

Spring is here

Mother Nature had some great mean PMS last week. We had weather that changed literally every minute of the day. We had snow, rain, wind, sun, hail, and this pattern repeated itself frequently over the course of a few days. This is the kids Spring break and the weather has completely changed. It's an absolute beautiful day, nice and sunny and even a little bit warm. The girls went outside to blow some bubbles and kick a ball around. It was short lived as Taylin likes to make up her own special rules on playing outside. Oh well. Tomorrow is suppose to be nice as well and we are going to go to the zoo. I am super excited and I can't wait.

And on another note my Nutri System food arrived today. I am so eager to get started with it and help me get back to my weight that I want. Wish me luck as I am determined to bring sexy back.
