Happy 60th Birthday

So it's not actually my Dad's birthday today, but it's actually on Halloween and well with all that's going on I wanted to make sure to post about him. Actually since I am his favorite I wanted to make sure I posted first. Haha sisters!!!!!! I dug deep through some pictures I have of him. He always goes above and beyond for everyone. He was Daddy Warbucks 2 years in a row to match Taylin.

He is always there to help. He is Mr. Fix-it and I don't know what I will do when I actually have to pay for house repairs.

He is always there for birthdays or special events and loves to have fun at them.

This is a picture of him after he got home from the hospital. He had grown so much facial hair that he decided he would do this look to surprise my mom when she got home from work.

Dad, I hope you have a great birthday. I have had you for half of your life and I am so grateful. You have been a good example in my life and would give your shirt off your back for anybody. I can't wait to celebrate this weekend. Happy Birthday old man!!!!!

Sometimes there is just nowhere to hide

I love my children. Hailey always minds her manners in public, well for the most part. Taylin well sometimes you just need to hide and there is nowhere to go. We left the house for a whole 2 hours. 2 hours, you think she could mind her manners heavens no. I went to the hair salon to pick up some hair products and the lady behind the counter was Taylin's first victim of the night. She said, " Um lady you have a lot of freckles." It wasn't just the remark, but the grossed out look that went with it. Has she looked at her mother lately, hello child I am covered with them. Then we decided that I was not going to make dinner and we stopped by a new Olive Garden by our house for soup and salad. So we are eating and the waitress had a mole on her lip. My sweet sweet child said, "um lady, what's that thing on your lip?" She repsonded, "It's a mole." Taylin then without hesitation said, "that's disgusting." Then did a BLAH type noise effect. Once again there was nowhere to hide. Why couldn't she have been sitting by Eric then I could have stared off into space pretending I didn't hear her. Honestly how can something so sweet looking be so mean to stranger?

Home safe and sound

This last weekend we made our way up to Everett to welcome my brother home from his deployment. I don't really feel like typing a lot of stuff cause pictures are better right, but I do want to say just a few things. I was able to hold my teacup sized bladder for most of the way up. Taylin stuck with her reputation and threw up on the way. We pulled over at a gas station tried to make it to the bathroom, but somebody was in it so we literally ran outside and she blew chunks right there in front of the front door. PRICELESS. We got to Everett hung out decorated etc etc etc. Jeff came home on Sunday and it went rather fast. I am so happy that he is home. Here are pictures of the trip.

Some people have been asking to see my baby bump. So I decided I would post one of all my fatness. I am 15 1/2 weeks along in this picture. Imagine what I will look like when I am all done. I think I will need some counseling, a good diet, and a nice workout routine to feel better.

Roloff Farm

In case you don't know who this family is, it is the Roloff family and they have a show on TLC called Little People Big World. They live a little ways away from us on a family farm. They have a pumkin patch that is open to the public. So we decided that tomorrow we will go and visit the farm. We hope that the family will be out and about and I will be sure to take a lot of pictures for you Shannon (she is terrified of midgets.) Pictures to come, hopefully we get some with the family.

What's been going on

So I still have my cold and I took my friend Jen's advice and called the dr's office twice yesterday cause surely there had to be something I could take. So luckily since I am past my first trimester there was a list of stuff I could take. So , I was able to breathe through the night. I also had some pregnancy issues on Friday and since I was sick on top of all this they wanted me to go for another ultra sound. Oh my gosh, let me just tell you of all the utlra sounds I have had this is by far the most active child of them all. It was bouncing up and down, waving its arms, and grabbing its feet. We find out on Novemebr 12th what it is.

Also my deployed brother called last night it was so good to hear his voice. I won't say where he is, but he will be home soon. Taylin talked to him or should I say she yelled at him cause when Hailey was younger and Taylin wasn't even born he took her ice skating. Somehow Taylin felt left out from that outing and she demanded he take her ice skating when he got home.

As I am sitting here my girls are both working on their homework. Oh how can 2 children be so different? Hailey is asking questions if she can do the extra credit and such. Why wouldn't I let her? She loves school. Then there is Taylin who has to write the letter F over and over. She would have been done a long time ago if she didn't inherit Eric's school genes. She is trying anything and everything to get out of it. She says she is really tired and needs a break. I of course won't give in. Then she said, "mommy, my pencil told me it's really tired and needs me to stop using it." Just do your homework. I never could comprehend how my children or anyone for that matter wouldn't love to do homework. I always did my homework as soon as I got home from school. I just loved it.

I have a cold, it sucks cause there isn't anything I can take. I can't breathe my nose is stuffy. That's all.
